Apply knowledge of engineering, understanding of electrical and electronics fundamentals, soldering and biomechanical to the repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment;
Able to perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections in accordance with:
NFPA 99 and Manufacturers specifications;
Able to create and record service documents;
Calibration and repair skills are a plus;
Able to work as a team and independently and self motivated.
Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Education: Associates degree or equivalent military training preferred. Biomedical certification is a plus.
Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
